Verti-Cutting Service

Verti-Cutting service is a thatch removal process that uses high-speed blades similar to a circular saw. These blades rip through the turfgrass thatch and pull much of it out to the surface where it can be removed. We use the First Products VC-60 Verti-Cutter with carbide tip blades and an adjustable cutting depth that ranges from 1/8” to 1-1/2” at a 2” spacing. Our unit is equipped with a front and back roller (not pictured) making it very forgiving and able to smoothly roll over the undulations which are common on golf course fairways.
